WooCommerce stores each product’s GTIN/EAN barcode and its Cost. Pricefy imports both automatically — on a current version of WooCommerce there are no extra plugins to install and nothing to map by hand.
What Pricefy imports automatically
- GTIN/EAN — recent WooCommerce versions include a built-in GTIN, UPC, EAN or ISBN field. Pricefy maps it to each product’s Code by default.
- Cost — Pricefy reads your products’ cost straight from WooCommerce. There’s nothing to configure.
So all you have to do is fill in the GTIN/EAN and cost on your WooCommerce products, then import.
Run the import
In Pricefy, go to Settings → Product Feed. With your WooCommerce store connected, click Sync Catalog to pull in your products with their GTIN/EAN and cost.
The Import History below lists each run, how many products came in, and whether it succeeded.
Check or change the mapping (optional)
You don’t normally need to touch this, but you can review it. On the Product Feed page, click the settings (gear) icon next to Sync Catalog.
- Product Code Field — which WooCommerce field becomes Pricefy’s Code. Leave it on Default and Pricefy uses your native GTIN/EAN; pick a specific field only if you store the code somewhere else.
- Brand Attribute (optional) — map the WooCommerce attribute that holds your product brand.
- Cost has no field here — it’s always imported automatically.
Click Save if you change anything.
See your imported values
After the import, your GTIN/EAN appears in the Code column of My Catalog and your Cost in the Cost column (add either from the Columns menu if it’s hidden). Cost then feeds your margin figures and cost-based repricing rules.
Older WooCommerce versions
If your WooCommerce is too old to include the built-in GTIN field — or you keep these values in a custom field — add them with a plugin such as EAN for WooCommerce or Cost of Goods for WooCommerce, then point Product Code Field at the right attribute.
