Extraction statuses explained

When Pricefy extracts prices from your competitors, every monitored URL shows an extraction status that tells you whether the price came through, is still being processed, or needs your attention. You’ll find it in the Status column of Competitors → Monitored URLs, with the competitor’s stock shown alongside it.

The Monitored URLs page in Pricefy, with the Status column showing each URL’s extraction status.

Statuses are colour-coded by how much attention they need — green is healthy, blue is in progress, orange needs a look, and red is an error.

Healthy

  • Active (green) — the URL is working and the price was extracted correctly. Nothing to do; Pricefy keeps it up to date automatically.

In progress

  • In Analysis (blue) — Pricefy is analysing the URL. The price will appear once it finishes.
  • Profiling… (blue) — Pricefy is building the competitor’s extraction profile. Wait for it to complete.

Needs your attention

  • Missing Profile (orange) — the competitor needs profiling before any price can be extracted. Click the status to start profiling it.
  • Missing Price (orange) — Pricefy couldn’t retrieve the competitor’s price in this cycle. It retries automatically on the next extraction cycle, so usually no action is needed. If it stays stuck after a few cycles, report it with Report Incorrect Data.
  • Currency Mismatch (orange) — after three retries Pricefy still couldn’t read the right currency. Contact our team for help with this competitor.
  • Suspended (orange) — the competitor has been suspended. Contact us at support@pricefy.io or via chat.

Errors

  • Scraping Failed (red) — extraction failed several times, so Pricefy stopped trying for this URL. Report it with Report Incorrect Data or contact support.
  • (4xx) Page Not Found (red) — the page returned a 404. The URL may have been removed or changed — update it with the new link.
  • Disabled (red) — extraction for this URL is turned off.
  • Disabled Competitor (red) — the whole competitor is disabled, so none of its URLs are extracted. Click the status to open it in Competitor Overview. (On Brand accounts this reads Disabled Reseller.)
  • Disabled Linked Product (red) — the product this URL belongs to is disabled in your catalog. Click the status to open it in My Catalog.
  • Orphan (red) — the linked product was removed from your catalog, so the URL is no longer attached to a product. See How to find and fix orphan monitored URLs.

Competitor stock

Next to the status, Pricefy shows the competitor’s stock, read from the product page’s rich snippets:

  • In Stock (green) / Out of Stock (red) — taken from the competitor’s page. It comes from rich snippets, so it can occasionally differ from what the page shows.
  • Missing Stock (gray) — the extraction succeeded but no stock information was found in the rich snippets.

Good to know

  • Most orange statuses clear on their own at the next extraction cycle — check back later before taking action.
  • If a red status shows across all of a competitor’s URLs, it usually points to a profile issue — use Report Incorrect Data or contact support.
